Previously, as Director of Sales at Motic Instruments USA, Inc., from April 2020 to August 2023, Gavilanez led internal sales operations and achieved significant revenue targets. Gavilanez's earlier role as General Sales Manager at Motic saw the development of a major dealer network across Latin America and Canada. Originally founded in 1988 by SpeedFair Co., Ltd. and now listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (300341) For more than three decades, Motic has been specialising in manufacturing conventional compound and digital microscopes. With over 2500 employees, the company has regional offices in United States, Canada, Spain, Germany and manufacturing plants in China. In 1996, Motic established its first manufacturing plants in Xiamen, China.
