Edwin van Megesen has had an extensive and diverse work experience spanning several companies in the fields of business development, partner management, sales, and consulting. Edwin started their career at Breijer Bouw en Installatie as a Quality and ICT employee before moving on to PwC as a Manager, where they managed a group of business process management consultants and worked on various assignments. After that, Edwin joined Aureus Business Consultancy as a Director for five years before joining E-mergo as a Partner and Sales Director, specializing in information management, IBM Cognos, and Qlik. Currently, Edwin is working at Motio, Inc. as the VP of Business Development, where they deliver software solutions to optimize BI and Analytic implementation and solves day-to-day problems in the development process. Edwin has also held roles such as Director Global Partner Management and Sales Director South America at Motio. Overall, Edwin has demonstrated expertise in the field of business intelligence and analytics, working in various sectors such as engineering, construction, financials, retail, utilities, and professional services.

Edwin van Megesen obtained a degree in Business Administration (Technische Bedrijfskunde) from the University of Twente, where they studied from 1988 to 1995. Before that, they attended Myrtus College from 1982 to 1988 for their high school education. Additionally, in 2016, they obtained the "IBM PureData for Analytics Sales Professional v1" certification from IBM Professional Certification. In 2023, they received the "Qlik Partner Ambassador" certification from Qlik.
