Catherine Desjardins has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Catherine began their career as a Lifeguard at the Ville de Laval in 2007 and continued in that role until 2008. Catherine then transitioned to the position of Aide-bibliothèque at the Ville de Laval, where they worked from 2009 to 2013.

In 2010, Catherine joined CSSS de St-Léonard et St-Michel as an Agente administrative, and their responsibilities included reception, telephone duties, and sales of meal coupons. Catherine also worked as a Clerk in the archives and at the reception, handling tasks such as retrieving and organizing files, customer registration, appointment scheduling, and phone answering. Catherine Desjardins attended Collège Regina-Assumpta from 2002 to 2007, where they completed their high school education. Following this, they enrolled at Collège André Grasset from 2007 to 2009 and obtained a Diplôme d'études collégiales in Cinema, Media, and Communication. Later, from 2009 to 2014, Catherine attended Université de Montréal, where they earned a Certificate in Translation.
