Ali Torabi is a Senior Robotic Engineer at Weir Motion Metrics, with extensive experience in robotics, control systems, and mechanical design. Previous roles include Robotics Engineer and Research Assistant at the University of Alberta, where significant contributions were made to the development of a novel redundant haptic interface and adaptive motion distribution methods for a wheeled mobile manipulator. Ali also interned as a Systems Analyst at Intuitive and worked as a Research Associate at the Djavad Mowafaghian Research Center. Additional experience includes mechanical design at Ager Poolad and research assistance during studies at Amirkabir University of Technology.
