Daniel McNamara

Daniel McNamara, MPSE, is an accomplished sound effects editor with extensive experience in the film and music industry. Currently serving as a Sound Effects Editor at Sony Pictures Entertainment since April 2020, Daniel also holds a position as a Sound Editor with the Motion Picture Editors Guild since May 2021 and has been the Supervising Sound Editor at Sidewalk Sound since September 2014. Previous experience includes interning at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and working as a Recording Arts Peer Advisor at the Los Angeles Film School. Daniel's musical background includes serving as the Lead Guitarist/Vocalist at Next Generation Music LLC. Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering and an Associate’s Degree in Recording Arts, both from the Los Angeles Film School.
