Latif M.

Latif M. is a Senior Principal Engineer for the Data Platform at Motional, leading a team focused on innovative data processing solutions for robotaxi fleets since November 2025. As an Associate Faculty member at Columbia University, Latif teaches in the machine learning master's program. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Engineering Manager for the ML Platform at Stack AV, Software Engineering Manager at Grubhub, and leading infrastructure teams at Argo AI. Earlier roles include Principal Engineer at Dell Technologies and positions at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and IBM. Latif holds a Doctor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University.
