Sang Uk Lee

Sang Uk Lee is a Senior Engineer at Motional, contributing as a research scientist in the Autonomy Research team since June 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from September 2014 to June 2021, where responsibilities included the course 2.168 Learning Machines. Additionally, Sang Uk Lee completed a summer internship in the behavior prediction team for autonomous driving at Aptiv in 2019. Educational qualifications include a PhD and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, attained between 2016 and 2021 and 2014 and 2016, respectively, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Seoul National University, earned from 2008 to 2014.
