Dr.-Ing. Rene Grzeszick has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and organizations. Dr.-Ing. Rene has the most recent experience as the CTO and Managing Partner at MotionMiners GmbH, where they co-founded the company and played a crucial role in its growth, starting from the initial idea to product platform development. During their tenure, they successfully bootstrapped the company and later secured venture capital, leading to significant expansion in the number of employees and revenues. Prior to this, they worked as a Researcher at Fraunhofer IML, where they were involved in securing research grants and co-authored scientific publications and patent applications. Dr.-Ing. Rene was also recognized for their contribution to the business plan and founding concept of the organization. Before that, they served as a Software Developer and Assistant Project Manager at Informatik Centrum Dortmund E.V., where they focused on research transfer projects for large corporations, mainly in the area of pattern recognition applications. Dr.-Ing. Rene also worked as a PhD Researcher at Technische Universität Dortmund, specializing in the field of Computer Vision and semi-supervised Learning, gaining expertise in both traditional pattern recognition pipelines and deep learning. Additionally, they have prior experience as a Student Assistant at Technische Universität Dortmund, where they worked on indoor localization systems, as well as internships and student assistant roles at GeoData+ GmbH, CLM Consulting, and Hamon Enviroserv GmbH.

Dr.-Ing. Rene Grzeszick completed their study abroad in Computer Science at the University of Pennsylvania in 2009. Dr.-Ing. Rene then pursued their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at TU Dortmund University, graduating in 2010. Dr.-Ing. Rene went on to earn their Master of Science in Computer Science from TU Dortmund University in 2012. Dr.-Ing. Rene Grzeszick continued their studies at TU Dortmund University and obtained their doctoral degree, Dr.-Ing., in Computer Science in 2018.
