Jessica Rivera

Jessica Rivera has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jessica is currently the Chief Operating Officer at MotionPoint, where they lead the operations and unites different teams to provide high-quality services to clients. Jessica also serves as the General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer at MotionPoint, providing strategic legal advice and overseeing legal, HR, and SecOps teams. Previously, Jessica held the role of EVP People & Performance at MotionPoint, where they designed performance management frameworks and implemented initiatives to drive employee growth and engagement.

Prior to their roles at MotionPoint, Jessica was the EVP, Global Sales & Corporate Affairs at MotionPoint, where they maximized the company's revenue and managed a top-performing team. Before joining MotionPoint, they served on the Board of Directors and later became the President of the ACC South FL Chapter, an association for corporate counsel professionals.

Jessica also has experience as the Chief Legal Officer & General Counsel at Velocity Solutions, where they advised on compliance, product development, and corporate governance. Jessica was recruited by the CEO to establish the legal department at the company.

Earlier in their career, Jessica worked as the Vice President & Senior Counsel at Bankrate, Inc., where they built the company's legal department from scratch and managed all legal operations. Jessica also worked as a Senior Counsel at Bankrate and as an Entrepreneurial, Tech and Corporate Attorney at Gunster Yoakley & Stewart, P.A., where they served clients globally and advised on various legal matters.

Jessica started their career as a Business Attorney at Tripp Scott, P.A. and as the Director of Business Operations at The Tolly Group, Inc.

Jessica Rivera's education history begins with a B.S. degree in Advertising, Marketing, and Business Strategy from the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications, which they completed in 2002. Following this, they pursued an M.B.A. in International Business from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business, completing it in 2003. Jessica furthered their education by obtaining a J.D. degree in Law from the University of Florida - Fredric G. Levin College of Law, which they completed in 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Jessica has acquired additional certifications. Jessica obtained a Certificate in Coaching at Scale from the Josh Bersin Academy in September 2021.
