Tony Kroening

Tony Kroening has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Tony started their career as an Electrical Engineering Associate at Wisconsin Public Service in 1981 and worked there until 1985. In 1985, they became an Associate Minister at Christ Presbyterian Church and served in that role for a decade until 1995. From 1995 to 2005, Tony was the President and Co-Owner of VTL Search. In 2005, they joined SIMA Partners as a Managing Partner and Owner. Tony left SIMA Partners in 2018 to become the President and Chief Product Officer of Motivations AI, where they developed TruMotivate, a narrative-based assessment to help young people understand their core motivations for meaningful career exploration. Tony was later promoted to the role of Senior Vice President at Motivations AI and is currently serving in that position.

Tony Kroening completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Secondary Education at the University of Minnesota. Tony then pursued further education and obtained a Masters of Divinity, as well as a Master of Arts in Christian Education, specializing in Pastoral Studies, Counseling, and Christian Education, from Bethel University between 1985 and 1989.
