Dave Acton

Dave Acton has extensive experience in the offshore and drilling industries, currently serving as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Motive Offshore Group Ltd since November 2012. Previous roles include Assistant Rig Superintendent at KCA Deutag, Driller at Dolphin Drilling Ltd, and various positions including Subsea Engineer and Driller at Noble Drilling. Early career highlights consist of serving as Design Director at ACE Winches and as an ROV Pilot at Sonsub Inc. Educational qualifications include a degree in Subsea Engineering from Moduspec Holland and HNCs in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from Aberdeen College and Banff and Buchan College, respectively.
