Katy Wells is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and business development. Currently serving as the VP of Licensing & HR and General Counsel at Motivo, Inc. since January 2017, Katy also works as a Senior Consultant for Cochran Client Development and is a Founding Member of The L Suite, a peer community for Chief Legal Officers. Previous roles include Corporate Secretary at Advanced Nanotechnology Solutions, and various positions at AMD, including Corporate VP and Deputy General Counsel, where responsibilities encompassed corporate compliance and board support. Early career experience includes positions as Associate Attorney at Baker Botts LLP and Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering, as well as a law clerkship with the U.S. District Court. Katy holds a JD from Yale Law School and a BS from Lamar University.
