Matthew Bird

Matthew Bird is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations management within the fuel retail industry. Currently serving as Managing Director of Operations at Motor Fuel Group since May 2012, Matthew has previously held roles as Operations Director and Operations Manager. Prior to this, Matthew worked at Murco Petroleum Limited for nearly nine years, starting as Area Retail Manager and advancing to Regional Manager, where responsibilities included overseeing 125 service stations and managing a team of Area Retail Managers. Matthew's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Hons in Political Science and Social Policy from Loughborough University, complemented by a strong foundation in academics from Upton By Chester County High School.
