John Capuano has a diverse work experience in the field of design and marketing. John began their career as an IT Service Desk Consultant at Michigan State University in 2014. Later, they worked as a Freelance E-Commerce Specialist at Magnolia Manoir, where they developed an e-commerce website and created online sales channels.
In 2015, John joined Lafontaine Automotive Group, first as a Marketing Assistant and then as a Digital Marketing Specialist. John managed the digital marketing performance for multiple automotive dealerships and automated web analytics reporting. John also analyzed shopping behavior to improve user experience and provided insights to sales managers.
John then worked as a Freelance Web Designer at Pixel Path Media from 2016 to 2017. John developed mobile-friendly responsive websites for small businesses and reported key performance indicators to business owners. John used various tools such as Facebook Ads, Google Analytics, and Adobe software.
In 2017, John worked as a Freelance Digital Designer at Creative Circle, where they designed content for digital ad banners, email marketing, and landing pages. From 2018 to 2020, they joined Automated Precision Inc. as a Marketing Designer. John led the rebranding and creative direction of the company, designed a new website, and conducted user research and interviews.
Currently, John is working at MOTOR Information Systems as a UX/UI Designer. John is responsible for the design system, creating prototypes, conducting usability testing, and developing user personas, flows, wireframes, and prototypes for web and mobile applications.
John Capuano completed their Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and Information Technology from Michigan State University between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they studied Business Administration and Management, General at Oakland University from 2010 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, John obtained certifications including Certified User Experience Specialist (CUSX) from Nielsen Norman Group in June 2021, Google Analytics in July 2015, and Google AdWords in November 2015.
