Aaron Gold

Aaron Gold is a seasoned automotive journalist with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Senior Editor at MotorTrend Group since March 2018, Gold previously held the role of Senior Editor/staff writer for Automobile from 2018 to 2021. Prior to this, a freelance career from September 1999 to March 2018 involved creating reviews, technical articles, and multimedia content for various publications, including Automobile Magazine and Edmunds. Gold also served as Cars Expert at About.com from 2005 to 2016, overseeing all aspects of the Cars site. Additional editorial roles included editing at Beckett Media and a consulting producer position for Top Gear USA. Gold holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from SUNY Brockport, earned between 1991 and 1993.
