Awais Naeem

Awais Naeem is an R&D Chemist at MOTOREX - Oil of Switzerland since November 2022, with a robust background in material science and chemical engineering. Previous roles include Scientist at EPFL and Guest Scientist at Paul Scherrer Institut PSI, along with a significant tenure as a Graduate Research Assistant at ETH Zürich. Awais possesses hands-on experience in synthesis and characterization techniques and has focused on the catalytic conversion of greenhouse gases into clean energy. A doctoral thesis involved engineering metal-oxide-derived CO2 sorbents and catalysts, complemented by various projects supported by prestigious institutions. Awais has authored multiple peer-reviewed articles in top-tier journals and has contributed to the training and supervision of students at various academic levels. Education includes a PhD in Material Engineering from ETH Zürich, an MSc in Chemical Engineering from King Saud University, and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Punjab.
