Armando Tello

Armando Tello is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in telecommunications and technology operations. Currently, as the Sr. Director of Global Land Mobile Radio Operations at Motorola Solutions since December 2019, Tello leads a team focused on addressing challenges for governments and public safety customers worldwide. Previously, as Director of Customer Operations at Ericsson, Tello played a key role in the deployment of 4G LTE and 5G products, notably launching the first commercial 5G networks in Chicago and Minneapolis. Tello's career also includes leadership positions at Avaya, where responsibilities spanned global support and advanced diagnostics within Unified Communications, and at Nortel, where Tello managed unified communications service delivery and technical support for the Caribbean and Latin America. Tello holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Cornell University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from ITESO Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara.
