Taher Akkad

Taher Akkad is an experienced professional in business development and sales engineering, currently serving as the Director of A&E Business Development & Sales Engineering for Canada at Motorola Solutions since May 2020. Prior to this role, Akkad held several key positions at Avigilon from January 2014 to April 2020, including Business Development Manager for A&E in the Middle East and Regional Sales Manager. Earlier, Akkad worked at SAS-SYSTEMS ENGINEERING from January 2006 to December 2013 as Area Sales Manager, Security Systems Engineer, and IP CCTV Engineer. Akkad earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Concordia University between 2001 and 2005.
