Leo Liu, head of MBG Product Development Center, is currently responsible for global Motorola phone development. During his over 20 years mobile device R&D career, Leo has been demonstrating consumer-oriented design philosophy and engineering excellence spirit. He made the vital contribution in designing various Lenovo products, such as the China 1st Symbian smartphone P930, the world's first transparent display phone S800, the Lenovo 1st generation Yoga Tablet, the Lenovo 1st generation mainstream smartphone A60 and the world 1st Intel processor smartphone k900. After Motorola acquisition, Leo has led the engineering team to design many products for Moto RAZR, Edge, Z, G, E, One franchises, including Moto X4 as 1st Motorola IP68 device, Moto Z3 with mmW MODS support, and RAZR2022 foldable. Leo also contributes in more than 20 patents. In addition, he had actively contributed during USB Type-C and USB PD for Type-C standardization, as a Lenovo representative in USB Newark workgroup.
