Ron Sobon

Ron Sobon is a financial executive with extensive experience in the technology and mobile devices sectors. Currently serving as Vice-President of Finance for Global Product Development at Motorola Mobility LLC, a subsidiary of Google, Inc. since January 2009, Ron has played a pivotal role in restructuring the R&D organization. Prior to this, Ron held multiple senior finance positions at Motorola, Inc., including Vice-President and Controller of the Mobile Devices Business Sector, where responsibilities included ensuring accounting and financial compliance during a significant business transformation, and Vice President, Director of Finance for both the Networks Business and iDEN Group. Ron holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master's in Management with a focus on Accounting and Finance from Northwestern University and its Kellogg School of Management.
