Ross Lahlum

Ross Lahlum is an experienced electrical engineer and musician with a diverse background in RF and antenna design, as well as analog and digital circuit design, currently serving as a Distinguished Member Technical Staff at Motorola since 1992. Lahlum focuses on System Architecture, Software Defined Radio platforms, and broadband high-efficiency power amplifiers, while also leading teams in developing RF transmit and receive lineups for various portable products. In addition to engineering, Lahlum is an accomplished acoustic and electric bass player, performing in jazz, classical, and contemporary genres. Educational credentials include a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a BA in Applied Music from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
