Allan Steen Olesen

Allan Steen Olesen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Allan Steen is currently the CXO and Co-founder of Motosumo, a fitness technology company. Allan Steen is also the Chairman of the Board at Motosumo Holding and a member of the Board of Directors. Previously, they were the CMO and Co-founder of Motosumo until January 2021.

Before their involvement with Motosumo, Allan worked as a Professional Triathlete for IRONMAN from March 2014 to December 2018. Prior to that, they held various roles at dentsu denmark, including Business Director at psLIVE and Business Manager and Project Manager at Promovator A/S.

Allan also worked as a Project Manager at SponsorPeople in 2007 and as a Teamleader Lifeguarding at Hovedstadens Beredskab/Greater Copenhagen Fire Department, where they managed lifeguard operations at Amager Strandpark. Earlier in their career, Allan worked as a Dual Maritime Officer for A.P. Moller - Maersk, gaining extensive international work experience in navigation, engineering, safety, and cargo operations.

Allan Steen Olesen has a diverse education history. Allan Steen started their academic journey at Kalundborg Gymnasium, where they obtained a Matematisk Student degree in Mathematics from 1999 to 2002. Afterwards, from 2002 to 2007, they studied at Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark, earning a B.Sc. in Leisure Management. Their field of study focused on Experience Economy, Tourism, Events, Sports, and Culture.

In 2003, Allan enrolled in A. P. Møller Mærsk/SIMAC and pursued a Dual Maritime Officer degree with a specialization in Navigation and Engineering. This program lasted for one year. Concurrently, they also pursued a qualification as an International Surf Lifeguard, specializing in Coast Lifeguarding and Team Leadership. This certification was obtained from Tryg Fonden/DSLF/Kbh. Brandvæsen/Safety Group, and they completed it from 2002 to 2007.

Returning to their education in 2014, Allan dedicated a short period to becoming a certified fitter. Allan Steen attended Retul University and completed the Retul Certified Fitter program in March 2014. This focused on Bikefitting.
