D. Dr. Zsalanda Richardson

Dr. Zsalanda Richardson, D., currently serves as the MI-AIMH President of the Board of Directors, having held various leadership roles within the organization since January 2018. In addition to this position, Dr. Richardson works as a Mental Health Therapist at Mott Children's Health Center and previously served as Clinical Supervisor-BHS at The Children's Center of Wayne County. Experience also includes roles as Infant Mental Health Coordinator at GCCARD HEAD START and Field Liaison at Michigan State University. A background in mental health includes positions as a Mental Health Clinician at Easterseals MORC and as a Residential Counselor at Word Foundation Agape House. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Social Work from the University of Southern California, a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Social Work from Rutgers University - Newark.
