Shayna Helal

Shayna Helal has a diverse work experience starting in 2005 as a Dental Assistant at Liu Dental Centre. Shayna then worked at Highgate Dental as a Certified Dental Assistant from 2008 to 2016. Following that, they were an Office Administrator at Kerrisdale Dental from 2016 to 2017. In 2018, they had a role as a Health and Safety Summer Intern at Univar. From 2017 to 2019, they were an Occupational Health and Safety Student at BCIT School of Business. Currently, they are the Chief Safety Officer at Mott Electric, where they previously served as an Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator.

Shayna Helal completed their education with a Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health Technology/Technician from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from The University of British Columbia, which they pursued from 2012 to 2016. In 2008 and 2009, Shayna attended the UBC Sauder School of Business to acquire a Real Estate Trading Services License. Additionally, they obtained a Diploma in Dental Assisting/Assistant from CDI College, where they studied from 2004 to 2005.
