Ian Bester

Ian Bester is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in operations and project management within civil engineering and construction sectors. Currently serving as a Director at JN Bentley since January 2012, Ian holds roles such as Operations Manager and Bid Manager, overseeing significant flood defense and mine water treatment projects valued at £25-30 million annually. Prior experience includes directorship at Mott MacDonald Bentley and roles such as Resident Engineer at Halcrow, where involvement in the £22 million Lusail Development project took place. Ian's career began at JN Bentley, progressing through various positions from Site Engineer to Site Manager, with a focus on wastewater and infrastructure projects.
