Michael Quarmby

Michael Quarmby is a Design Lead and Process Engineer at Mott MacDonald Bentley, a position held since June 2016, focusing on water and wastewater process design for major UK water frameworks, including Northumbrian Water, Scottish Water, and United Utilities. Quarmby is also a trained HAZOP lead. Previously, Quarmby served as a Process Engineering Intern at Lotte Chemical UK Ltd for a brief tenure in 2012, contributing to the production of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) at the Wilton M5 site. Quarmby holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Manchester, completed in 2015.
