Laxmi Shrestha

Laxmi Shrestha is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in transportation infrastructure projects. Currently serving as Technical Director Highways and Principal Civil Engineer at Mott MacDonald since November 2020, Laxmi specializes in the design and coordination of Sydney Metro Projects and oversees site inspections for road upgrades. Prior experience includes roles at CPB Contractors from September 2006 to May 2020, where Laxmi advanced from Site Engineer to Engineering Manager, focusing on tender design, safety in design, and project management. Laxmi also worked with Abigroup and Leighton Joint Venture as a Quality Engineer and served as District Engineer at SNV/Nepal, where construction of a rural road network was initiated. Laxmi holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Pulchowk Campus, Tribhuvan University.
