Marcus Moore

Marcus Moore has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Bridge Engineer at Corcoran Shepherd Consultants from August 1996 to July 1998. Marcus then worked as a Principal Bridge Engineer at GHD from 1998 to 2009. Following this, they served as a Purchaser at Earth, Wind & Rider in 2010 and as a Shareholder at iPowow! from 2008 to 2015. From 2010 to 2015, Marcus worked at AECOM Australia Pty Ltd in various positions, including Associate Director - Bridges and NSW / ACT Rail Team Leader. Marcus also served as a Riyadh Metro Project: Aus / US Work Packages Coordinator and NSW Rail, Ports & Marine Team Leader during their time at AECOM. In 2012, Marcus became a Sydney Division Committee Member at Engineers Australia and held this role until 2014. From 2013 to 2013, they served as an Auskick Coordinator at Newtown Junior AFL Club Inc. Marcus joined Engineers Australia again in 2015 as a Sydney Division Committee Member and remained until 2017. Starting in 2015, Marcus worked at KBR, Inc., where they served as an Industry Lead - Roads, NSW & ACT, responsible for business development and strategy implementation. Finally, they currently hold the position of Principal Project Manager and Technical Director at Mott MacDonald since May 2018. Marcus has also served as the Bridges & Civil Structures Practice Lead, ANZ from October 2018 to January 2021.

Marcus Moore has an extensive education history. Marcus obtained a Ph.D in Engineering from the University of Melbourne from 1992 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from the University of Melbourne from 1987 to 1991. In addition to their academic qualifications, they also hold certifications such as the National Engineering Register from Engineers Australia and completed the course "Leading Strategic Innovation in Organizations" from Coursera in 2013.
