Mo Bala

Mo Bala is a seasoned architecture professional with extensive experience in major projects and a noteworthy career progression. Currently serving as Technical Director for Major Projects at Mott MacDonald since September 2024, Mo previously held the position of Associate Principal at Grimshaw from May 2015 to July 2024, leading high-profile projects such as the Eustion HS2 Station Masterplan and the JFK Airport Redevelopment. Prior to this, Mo was a Senior Architect at KSS Design Group, contributing to significant developments including the Anfield Stadium Expansion. Earlier career roles included Architect positions at Gardner Stewart Architects and Studio Bednarski Ltd, alongside an initial tenure at RIBA. Mo holds educational qualifications from the University of Westminster and the University of Nottingham.
