Ryan Boyle

Ryan Boyle is a Senior Ecologist at Mott MacDonald in Belfast, a position they have held since 2023. Previously, they worked as a consultant ecologist with MCL Consulting from 2021 to 2023 and as a zookeeper at both Chester Zoo and Belfast Zoo between 2015 and 2019. Ryan served as the Chairperson for the Northern Ireland Amphibian and Reptile Group since 2020 and has engaged in various research and conservation projects throughout their career, including a year-long internship focused on herpetology. They hold a BSc (Hons) in Bioveterinary Science from Harper Adams University and an MSc in Ecological Management and Conservation Biology from Queen's University Belfast, where they graduated with commendation.
