Aymeric Payen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 2007, they worked part-time at Compu-Tec, where they provided IT infrastructure maintenance and added systems to the company network. Aymeric then gained experience in the manual labor field as a shelving installer trainee at Monsieur Rayonnage in 2010, where they prepared and installed racking and shelving systems.

In 2011, Aymeric worked as a counselor and windsurfing instructor at Kingsley Pines Summer Camp, collaborating with a team to ensure a safe and entertaining experience for the campers. Aymeric also facilitated communal living and provided guidance to young leaders.

The following year, in 2012, Aymeric interned at EDF's Electrical System Division, analyzing failures on the electrical network, enhancing wind turbine forecast methods, and integrating the forecast into managing software.

In 2013, Aymeric began their career at Alstom Transport as a Verification & Validation URBALIS 400 ATC Engineer Trainee, where they set up a loading procedure for circuit board sets and designed a tool to automatically load application software layers and data.

After their internship, Aymeric stayed with Alstom, assuming various roles. Aymeric served as a Test & Commissioning System Engineer on the Signalling and Control Metro Amsterdam (SCMA) project, where they prepared and organized test periods, managed tests at subsystem and system levels, and analyzed system deliveries.

Aymeric then became an Automatic Train Control Design Leader, overseeing the development of a new ATC subsystem for the Amsterdam metro system. Aymeric was responsible for integrating the ATC subsystem, managing project schedules, and maintaining technical interfaces with internal and external contributors. Finally, they served as a Project Engineering Manager, ensuring the successful deployment of a new generation of metro signaling systems. Aymeric acted as the technical interface between project and product teams and oversaw system deliveries and testing.

In 2022, Aymeric worked as a freelance engineer before joining Motto as a full-stack developer later in the same year.

Aymeric Payen's education history begins with their completion of engineering preparatory courses at Lycée Charles Coeffin from 2008 to 2010. Aymeric then pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from 2010 to 2013 at ESIGELEC : ÉCOLE D'INGÉNIEURS-ES GÉNÉRALISTES, where they studied mathematics, physics, electronics, IT, signals, electrical engineering, and automation. Recently, in 2021, Aymeric attended Le Wagon, where they earned a Full-Stack Web Developer degree and focused on computer programming.
