Paul Akerman MD FACG FASGE AGAF serves as the Director of Therapeutic Endoscopy at University Gastroenterology. In addition, Paul has held positions as Chief Medical Officer at both Motus GI Holdings, Inc. and Stratis Medical. Paul is a Co-Founder and Scientific Officer at Magpie MedTech Ventures, and also a Co-Founder of Boundless Medical Ventures. Educationally, Paul Akerman earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Biology from Brandeis University and completed medical training at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from 1990 to 1993.
