Ursula van Dyk is an experienced strategic planner currently working at Mount Alexander Shire Council since May 2020. Prior to this role, Ursula held positions as a senior planner and town planner at Niche Planning Studio from July 2017 to December 2019, and served as a contract planner at West Wimmera Shire Council from February to November 2019. Additionally, Ursula contributed as a tutor in structure planning at RMIT University from June 2018 to November 2019, and worked as a contract statutory planner at Brimbank City Council during the latter half of 2018. Ursula's career began as a student planner at Beacon Town Planning from January 2016 to June 2017. Ursula completed a Master of Urban Planning at the University of Melbourne between 2016 and 2017, following a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Geography from the same institution from 2012 to 2015, and earned a Diploma in Modern Languages (German) in 2015. Educational journey includes VCE at Ballarat and Clarendon College, a high school exchange program in Germany, and high school education at St. Brigid's College, Horsham.
