Danielle Holley serves as the President of Mount Holyoke College since July 2023. Holley is also a Board Member of the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights and the Howard University Public Charter Middle School for Mathematics & Science. Previously, Holley was the Dean and Professor of Law at Howard University School of Law from July 2014 to July 2023, where significant achievements included enhancing fundraising efforts, improving law school rankings, and increasing career placements for graduates. Prior roles include Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Distinguished Professor of Law at the University of South Carolina, where Holley led curriculum reforms and faculty hiring, as well as Associate Professor of Law at Hofstra University. Holley began legal career as an associate at Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P. and clerked for Judge Carl E. Stewart at the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Holley earned a JD from Harvard Law School and a BA in History from Yale University.
