Joshua Powers

Joshua Powers currently serves as the Director of Government and Community Relations at Mount Holyoke College, where responsibilities include representing the College on legislative matters and providing strategic recommendations to leadership. Prior experience includes the role of Assistant Director of Public Affairs, Community and Government Relations, at the same institution, focusing on public affairs strategy, external communications, and media relations. Previous work includes positions as Marketing Coordinator at The Loomis Communities, where event planning and marketing strategy were key tasks, and Writer at WHDH-TV, responsible for creating news packages under tight deadlines. Joshua Powers also gained experience as a Remote Production Intern at NESN during broadcasts for the Boston Bruins. Educational background includes a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Emerson College.
