Olivia Aguilar is an accomplished academic in the field of Environmental Studies, currently serving as an Associate Professor at Mount Holyoke College since January 2020. Previously, Olivia held the position of Assistant Professor at Denison University from August 2007 to January 2020. Prior to these roles, Olivia was a Graduate Research Fellow at Welder Wildlife, where research focused on sociocultural theories of learning in science classrooms and environmental clubs, alongside participation in conservation studies and the implementation of environmental education programs. Olivia holds a PhD in Natural Resources from Cornell University, completed in 2008, and both a B.S. and M.S. in Horticulture from Texas A&M University, obtained in 2001.
