Rachel Sunwoo Kang

Rachel Sunwoo Kang currently serves as a Peer Health Educator, Admissions Ambassador, and Research Assistant at Mount Holyoke College, where research work involves tracing the tracheal system of Drosophila melanogaster to examine its relationship with the Blood Brain Barrier. Additionally, Rachel has provided individualized Korean language tutoring focused on pronunciation, grammar, conversation, and cultural knowledge. Previous experience includes a Camp Counselor role at AHRC New York City and a Research Assistant position at Boston University School of Public Health, contributing to COVID-19 response efforts in Zambia and South Africa. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Mount Holyoke College and completed an International Summer Program in Mathematics and Computer Science at Seoul National University.
