Katya Sodamin

Katya Sodamin serves as the Associate Director of Marketing and Partnerships at Mount Royal University, a role held since March 2013, where responsibilities include leading strategic communications, marketing, events, and sponsorship for Cougars Athletics & Recreation. Prior to this position, Katya worked as a Marketing Coordinator for Cougars Athletics, managing marketing and partnership efforts. From January 2010 to March 2013, Katya was the Communications and Digital Media Coordinator for Dalhousie University’s varsity sports teams, overseeing all communications and digital media activities. Earlier experience includes the position of Marketing and Communications Coordinator within the same department. Katya holds a Bachelor of Management degree in Business Management and Marketing from Dalhousie University, a Sales Development Certificate from Mount Royal University, and a Leadership Certification from Mount Royal University.
