Kate van Den Broek Rn

Kate Van Den Broek RN, MScN, ENC(C) currently serves as the Senior Clinical Program Director for Urgent & Critical Care and Operational Readiness at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, since October 2016. With a focus on clinical operational readiness during capital redevelopment, Kate oversees multiple critical areas, including the Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Department. From December 2005 to October 2016, Kate held several roles at Mount Sinai Hospital, including Nursing Unit Administrator for the Emergency Department, where operational priorities were defined and key performance indicators monitored. Kate's nursing expertise was further honed through roles as a Clinical Nurse Specialist and Clinical Coordinator in the Emergency Department and an educator at George Brown College. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Nursing from York University and ongoing leadership development at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management.
