Amy McBrien has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and insurance industries. Amy has held various roles in risk management, performance improvement, quality and safety, care management, and claims handling. Amy has worked at reputable organizations such as Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Heritage Valley Health System, UPMC Presbyterian, UPMC Passavant, UPMC, Chubb, and Crum & Forster. Amy has demonstrated longevity in their positions, with their most recent role being the VP of Risk Management & Performance Improvement at Mount Sinai Medical Center.

Amy McBrien has a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus in Leadership and Health Systems Management from Drexel University, which they completed from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Pittsburgh between 1996 and 1998. In their earlier years, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania from 1987 to 1990.
