Christos G. Mihos, DO has extensive experience in the field of cardiology. Christos G. has served as the Director of the Echocardiography Laboratory at Mount Sinai Medical Center Miami Beach since February 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Specialist in Echocardiography & Non-Invasive Cardiology at the same institution from September 2017 to February 2019. Dr. Mihos has also held positions at Columbia University Medical Center, where they worked as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Cardiology since September 2017. Christos G. has also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Cardiology at Nova Southeastern University since January 2012 until December 2021. Dr. Mihos gained further experience during their time at Massachusetts General Hospital, where they completed an Advanced Echocardiography Fellowship and worked as a Clinical Research Fellow from July 2015 to June 2017. Additionally, they have completed various fellowships and residencies at Mount Sinai Medical Center Miami Beach, including Chief Fellow in Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship from July 2014 to June 2015, Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease from July 2012 to June 2015, Chief Resident in Internal Medicine from July 2011 to June 2012, and Internship/Residency in Internal Medicine from July 2009 to June 2012.

Dr. Christos G. Mihos obtained their Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2009. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Arts in Biology, General from Brandeis University in 2003. Christos G. has additional certifications in Cardiovascular Disease, Adult Comprehensive Echocardiography Level III, and Internal Medicine.
