Gervasio Lamas is an accomplished physician with extensive experience in cardiology and medicine. Currently serving as the Chair of Medicine and Chief of Cardiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach since January 2009, Gervasio Lamas also holds the title of Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center, where Gervasio Lamas leads the Division of Cardiology. Gervasio Lamas earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from New York University School of Medicine between 1974 and 1978, following a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry from Harvard University from 1970 to 1974. Further training was completed at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
