Richard Hernandez

Richard Hernandez is an experienced healthcare professional with a strong background in critical care and nursing education. Since May 2010, Richard has held multiple leadership roles at Mount Sinai Medical Center Miami Beach, including Neurological ICU Team Leader and Rapid Response Nurse Team Leader. Richard has also served as a Rapid Response Nurse at Mount Sinai Medical Center since May 2016 and as a Nursing Instructor at West Coast University since August 2018. Prior experience includes work as a registered nurse in various intensive care units at Jackson Hospital and as a Sales Associate at Sam Ash Music, where Richard ranked among the top 10 sales associates on the East Coast in 2007 and 2008. Richard holds a Master of Science in Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from Walden University, a Bachelor's degree in Nursing Science from Grand Canyon University, an Associate of Science in Registered Nursing from Brown Mackie College, and has completed studies at Miami Dade College.
