Laura Valenzuela

Ms. Laura Valenzuela is an experienced educator currently serving as a Dual Language Immersion Spanish Teacher for the Glendale Unified School District since August 2021. In addition to this role, Ms. Valenzuela is a Preliminary Teaching Credential Mentor at Mount St. Mary's University, where support is provided to new teachers entering the profession. Previous experiences include leadership roles at PUC Schools, where Ms. Valenzuela was a Grade Level Lead and Content Coordinator, among other positions. Past roles also encompass an educational role at Project Grad Los Angeles and program leadership with AmeriCorps. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Education: Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Culture from California State University, Northridge.
