Douglas Heinle

Volunteer at Mount Vernon

Douglas Heinle is a designer at the Community College of Baltimore County since March 2017, where involvement also includes serving as an ADIM Advisory Board Member. Since June 2019, Douglas has been a volunteer at George Washington's Mount Vernon and previously worked as a docent for the Babe Ruth Birthplace Foundation from October 2018 to April 2023, providing tours and greeting visitors. With a background in creative management and graphic design at Turf Valley Resort from July 2009 to March 2017, Douglas designed advertisements for various publications and brochures. Previous experience includes an intern role in the Publications Department at the Community College of Baltimore County, and positions as a print media technician at Constellation Energy and a prepress technician at French Bray, Inc. Douglas holds a BA in Digital Communications from the University of Baltimore and an AAS in Graphic and Publication Design from the Community College of Baltimore County.
