Laurie Gabriel has extensive experience in governance and investment, currently serving on the Board of Trustees at Tufts University since January 2009, as well as holding board memberships at The Nature Conservancy - New Hampshire and Mount Washington Observatory since 2012 and 2013, respectively. Previously, Laurie Gabriel acted as Chair of the Investment Committee for the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation from July 2016 to January 2017 and was a member of the Board of Directors for the Appalachian Mountain Club from 2004 to 2013. Laurie's professional background also includes a role as Managing Partner at Wellington Management from 1999 to 2008. Laurie Gabriel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Tufts University, graduating in 1976.

Mount Washington Observatory
Mount Washington Observatory is a private, nonprofit, member-supported institution with a mission to advance understanding of the natural systems that create the Earth's weather and climate. Since 1932, the Observatory has been monitoring the elements from its weather station on the summit of Mount Washington, using this unique site for scientific research and educational outreach.
