Mia Buggs has extensive experience in pastoral care and administrative roles within faith-based organizations. Currently serving as an Associate Pastor at Divine Revelation Ministries, Inc. since May 2012, Mia Buggs also holds the position of Church Secretary at Mount Zion Baptist Church since 2009. In addition, Mia Buggs has been an Avon Representative since January 2004. Previously, Mia Buggs had a lengthy career at DeKalb County Government from April 1987 to October 2019, retiring as Branch Manager and Youth Services Librarian. Mia Buggs earned a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from Georgia State University, and an Associate's degree from Dekalb Community College. The educational journey began at Avondale High School, graduating in 1983.
