Gabriela Helf

Gabriela Helf currently serves as an Event Coordinator at Mount Zion Temple since July 2023. Previously, Gabriela held multiple positions at Macalester College from February 2020 to August 2023, including Summer Research Assistant in the Center for Religious and Spiritual Life, where Gabriela assisted Chaplain Kelly Stone and researched the chaplaincy's history, as well as serving as a Special Events Student Assistant and a First Year Writing Tutor. Gabriela has also worked as a Swim Instructor at Williston Fitness Center and a Judaic Studies Teacher for 3rd-4th graders at Mount Zion Temple. Other experiences include Unit Head at Camp Butwin, Associate Swim Coach and Lifeguard/Pool Operator at Bannockburn Swimming Club Inc, and Teacher for creative writing classes for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities at Cow Tipping Press. Gabriela's early experience includes serving as a Front Office Assistant at Congregation Beth El of Montgomery County. Gabriela holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature and Religious Studies from Macalester College, completed in 2023, and graduated from Walt Whitman High School in 2019.
