Mountain Pacific Bank

In August 2005, a group of local investors, community leaders and business executives, led by President and CEO Mark Duffy, set about to organize a new community bank in Snohomish County. And in July 2006, the bank opened its doors in the new Everett Gateway Center on Broadway. The Founders and Directors believed the time was right to organize a new community bank, as some other local banks had become victims of their own success and were more interested in expanding outside the local area than serving the local community. As banks began to falter in 2008, Mountain Pacific opened a second location at 196th and Highway 99 in Lynnwood. The Great Recession ultimately claimed seven local banks in Snohomish County. In 2012, President and CEO Mark Duffy was recognized by the Herald Business Journal as Executive of the Year, for safely guiding Mountain Pacific Bank through the economic crisis and for helping to save local community banking in Snohomish County. Today, Mountain Pacific Bank is the only 100% locally owned and locally managed community bank, based in Everett, WA. The bank finished 2012 as one of the Top 5 fastest growing banks in Washington and remains focused on helping local businesses, professionals and consumers achieve their financial goals. With two Branch Offices, Internet Banking, Remote Deposit, Mobile Banking and a unique Mobile Branch service, Mountain Pacific Bank provides exceptional service to all areas of Snohomish County.
