Marco Zamora

Marco Zamora has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Marco started their career as a Residence Maintenance Crew at American University in 2009. Later, they interned at the SIS Office of Development in the same university. In 2011, Marco worked as a Boom Operator for the short film "Reunion," gaining experience on a professional film set. Marco also worked as a Production Assistant at Showtime Networks, where they contributed to the filming and preparation of Pauly Shore's network special and comedy club show. In 2012, Marco interned as a Remote Imaging Intern at the National Geographic Society and performed tasks such as managing footage editing and researching new cameras. Then, they served as a Concessions Coordinator at Bethesda Row Cinema. Marco's IT experience includes roles as a Sales Consultant at Office Depot, Easy Tech Associate at Staples, and a Developer Intern and Jr Database Administrator at USAble Life. Their most recent position is Database Developer at Mountain Park Health Center, where they are currently employed.

Marco Zamora completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from Oregon State University from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a BA degree in Film and Media Arts, Cinema Studies from American University between 2008 and 2012. In August 2014, Marco obtained a certification in Introduction to Linux from LinuxFoundationX.
